Spock.com - The People-Powered Search Engine
Finding people online, at least, their telephone numbers and addresses, is not as difficult as it used to be. Most of this information are now easily accessible and a matter of public record here on the ‘net. You can find that long lost high school friend, search for a good doctor, start your genealogy research, or reunite with a military buddy at Spock.com, today’s People Search Engine.
Spock is a free people and information search engine which pulls data from many different sites together like MySpace, LinkedIn, My Yahoo!, Wikipedia, company websites, blogs and more, to generate search results of personal profiles of individuals. People can be easily searched by name or by a “tag” consisting of a personal piece of information (e.g. Real Estate Agent, blind, curly hair, etc), by location, and tag combinations.
Spock also allows you to create widgets of your favorite searches. These widgets can be in flash, or javascript form which you can easily embed into your blogs or websites by just pasting the codes.
Further more, once you sign up as a member and registered user, Spock.com lets you add details to your searches, upload multiple photos to make sure old and new friends could recognize you, edit your contact page within your Spock member account to add your contact information, add tags on your profile that’s best related to you for easy tracking and start building networks with friends and acquaintances.
